Interest rate is posted under Deposit Rates.  Interest will be compounded quarterly.  Interest will be credited quarterly to your account.  If you close your account before interest is credited, you will receive the accrued interest.  We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account.  This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principle in the account each day.  Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items (for example, checks).  If monthly statement balance falls below $50.00 there will be a monthly charge of $.75.  (The charge is waived for children under the age of 12).  For each withdrawal in excess of five (5) allowed, there will be a charge of $0.50.  You must maintain a minimum balance of $50.00 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield posted under Deposit Rates.
